DO HEALTH PROFESSIONALS EXPERIENCE VOCAL FATIGUE WHEN TREATING CLIENTS VIA TELEPRACTICE COMPARED WITH FACE TO FACE CONSULTATIONS?

If you are a health professional consulting for a minimum of 3 consecutive hours via Telepractice (phone or video conference) or Face to Face, you are invited to take part in this research study. We wish to evaluate if health professionals in the outpatient setting report vocal fatigue whilst using telepractice compared with face to face consultations. For the purposes of this study, vocal fatigue is defined as tiredness of and/or avoidance of voice use, and/or physical discomfort and, improvement of symptoms with rest.
The Participant Information Statement is attached and participation in this study requires no more than 20 minutes of your time. This research study is being carried out by Voice Therapy and Pinnacle Surgery and ethical aspects have been approved by the HREC of Epworth Health.

If you have any questions about the study or wish to participate, please do not hesitate to contact me at .

Kind regards,
