Natasha Curham
Natasha Curham is a highly experienced Speech Pathologist and Founder of Voice Plus Australia, as well as a senior clinician at the Melbourne Voice Analysis Centre and Clinical Lead of Laryngology at Barwon Health. She is a specialist in laryngology with a passion for voice, working with both adult and paediatric clients in the areas of voice, breathing, swallowing and nasendoscopy. Her career has spanned several countries, including the UK, Scotland and New Zealand, before returning to Australia. Natasha is committed to teaching and mentorship and has held board positions on the Laryngology Society of Australasia and is a member of various special interest groups. Most of all, Natasha loves spreading her love of laryngology and talking voice and voice therapy to anyone interested!
Madeleine Swan
Madeleine is a Sydney-based speech pathologist with interests in voice, upper airway disorders, and the singing voice. She has worked in multidisciplinary laryngology settings, including The Voice Connection, and holds masters degrees in speech pathology and music. Her work focuses on improving cross-disciplinary communication between clinicians, singers, and teachers. She now runs her practice, Voiced.
Miriam Voortman
Miriam is a speech pathologist and vocalist and the Director of Adelaide Voice Therapy. She trained in Jazz Voice at the Elder Conservatorium before taking an interest in voice rehabilitation, leading her to study Speech Pathology. She has since worked across leading acute hospitals in Heart and Lung Transplants and Burns with a focus on voice, upper airway and dysphagia management. In 2023, Miriam opened Adelaide Voice Therapy, which has quickly become a leading private practice in South Australia. She has taught in Voice at The University of South Australia and has sat on the board of The Australian Voice Association. Miriam has also trained in Manual Therapy for voice and swallowing disorders and integrates this into her treatment.
Laura Kennedy
Laura Kennedy is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist, performer, and yoga instructor. She is the Director of Vocal Performance Centre, working with clients in Brisbane and online. Laura provides voice services for performers, professional voice users, and gender-affirming voice care. She has additional training in voice therapy, manual therapy, upper airway and breathing pattern disorder, and gender-affirming voice care. Drawing on 25+ years in the performing arts, Laura blends evidence-based practice with creativity to support clients in achieving efficient, sustainable voice use.
